We have focused our attention on compliance with the  Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 2003 (Act No.  53 of 2003) and The Codes of Good Practice. 

PPG's current rating is as a Level 6 contributor (score between 45 and 55 out of 100).  Our Procurement Recognition Level is 60% and with the Value Adding Enterprise Factor of 1.25 it is 75%.  As a result, our customers can recognise 75% of all monies spent with Polyoak as “BEE Spend” in terms of their preferential procurement policies.

We are working towards becoming a level 5 contributor whereby with the value add factor, 100% of all monies spent will qualify as “BEE Spend”.
